ooh exciting development Simon. I shall check out that tutorial because that's a direction I want to take too. I have been asked by a few people to illustrate children's books for them but it's always on a 'payment if it sells' type of thing. There is thus far only one of those peeps who I feel confident their book would sell (as they are already high profile) but he's got to write it yet!! Smile Meanwhile I do think my 'Herbetta Fly' story had potential Wink

When I was 12 I did a series of comic strips about a character called 'Woodly Worm'. Maybe he should make a come back!!

Good idea. To get into a Child's mind you really have to kinda resort to one yourself I reckon.

I did a childrens book, for someone who is publishing it herself...eventually Very Happy She did pay for the simple B&W illustrations, but she is not done yet.

Simon, that's not weird to want to draw for kids!! It's fun, and isn't that part of why we are cartoonists? For fun? I think your style would be great for a childrens book.

Hey, why don't YOU write and illustrate a book, and self-publish? You could offer it as an e-book on your website, so no money needed to spend on publishing. Sell it for .99 cents, watch it sell like crazy, and make some good money. (Hmmm...maybe I should do that...pirat )
